Antoine A. Banks joins the Comcast Cable - Beltway Region as Senior Manager of Government Regulatory Affairs, responsible for implementing legislative strategies, monitoring legislation, and coordinating state association management for Howard, Harford and our Baltimore Metro area.  In his new role, he will manage franchise renewal and transfer negotiations in addition to overseeing our compliance with LFA-required complimentary services.

New to the cable industry, Antoine most recently worked for the City of Baltimore as a Legislative Policy Analyst. In that role, he successfully performed complex studies and wrote confidential reports involving both major and controversial legislation. Prior to coming to Baltimore, Antoine served as External Affairs Coordinator with the Executive Office of the Mayor of Atlanta where he designed and managed the state legislative interns, monitored and analyzed State legislation during the State’s General Assembly. Originally from New Orleans, Antoine received his BA in Political Science from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA and currently pursuing a Master in Public Administration at the University of Baltimore.  Antoine is a member of the Union Baptist Church of Baltimore, MD and an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., where he has held position on a local, state, regional and national level.  He is currently director of the Beautillion Scholars Program, a male mentoring program focused on minority males in the Great Baltimore area.  In his spare time, he enjoys movies, skiing, traveling, his family and friends
