Shymaine Davis, MBA, CPA


Shymaine Davis a native Baltimorean who brings over 20 years of financial management experience dedicated to the government and nonprofit sectors. Shymaine directs all financial aspects of the business, including tax planning, accounting practices, budgeting, financial planning, micro and macro business planning, strategic planning, development of business plans, interface with the financial community, financial analysis, acquisitions and monitoring of financial performance. 

Additionally, Shymaine was a licensed active realtor for over 10 years where she enjoyed promoting homeownership and community economic development and investment.

Shymaine actively serves as an adjunct professor with Baltimore City Community College, Howard Community College and University of Maryland University College.  She recognized her passion of educating our underserved communities on career/college and job readiness, financial literacy and entrepreneurship.  As an advocate of community schools, she works with Harford Business Center to provide these services throughout the Baltimore Region K12 schools. Harford Business Center collaborated with community organizations to support the youth with workforce development, job placement, training support, monitoring and evaluation of successful job placement for today’s youth in some of the most vulnerable areas of Baltimore inclusive of schools identified by CSI evaluation for extensive Federal and local government interventions.

For the past 15 years Shymaine has committed her career and volunteer services to working with organizations to fulfill their mission. Some of Ms. Davis’ most distinguished projects were assisting with the building acquisition of Langston Hughes Business Community Resources Center which serves the Park Heights community as well as the opening of the Dr. Angela Y. Davis Leadership Academy for over aged middle school students in Baltimore City. She works with a host of organizations in assisting with budget/financial management, establishing systems/policies and strategizing growth through microlending and small business loans, grants and contracts.
Shymaine serves as the Treasurer for the Woodholme Elementary School PTA and Friendly Loving Organization (FLO). She serves as a member of Cristata Cares and an advisory member of the Participatory Budget Project.   In the 2018 election, Shymaine served as campaign treasurer for Senator Jill Carter.

Shymaine lives in Baltimore County with her children, Stephen and Savannah. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, trying new recipes and supporting elementary and middle schoolers build their entrepreneurial dreams.
