Clarence Campbell, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, serves as Area President of Wells Fargo Bank for the Coastal Maryland market. Wells Fargo is a nationwide, diversified, community-based financial services company with $1.5 trillion in assets. Campbell joined First Union Bank (now Wells Fargo) in 1998 as a Licensed Financial Specialist and has held many leadership positions with the bank throughout his tenured career. In his current role as Area President, he is responsible for over 300 employees in 3 districts and the daily operation of 30 retail banking stores that provide consumer and business banking services including mortgage loans, investment products, and insurance services.
A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Campbell holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. He is a graduate of the Leadership Baltimore County class of 2011 and the Greater Baltimore Committee’s Leadership class of 2014. In 2013, Campbell was recognized by the Maryland Bankers Association as one of the Next Leaders in Banking, and was honored by Associated Black Charities as an Emerging Leader in 2011. An active member of the Baltimore community, Campbell is the Board President of the Greater Baltimore Urban League and also leads a youth basketball program for Catonsville Recreation and Parks. He currently resides in Reisterstown, Maryland with his wife of over 20 years and 3 sons.
